Vice President & Managing Director NAQP
With over 30 years of experience in the print and graphic communications industry, Mitch leads the NAPL/NAQP small printer segment of NAPLâs Business Advisory Team. Mitch has the unique experience of beginning his career as a consultant before he successfully owned his own printing company for 23 years, bringing to his advisory role the insights he gained as a business owner.
Mitch is an entrepreneur who works exclusively with printing company owners and specializes in transition strategies, valuation, mergers and acquisition, strategic & business planning, digital printing technologies, diversification into mailing & signage, and outside sales compensation. He currently facilitates four print peer groups and is a co-author of the book âTaking Your Business to the Next Level.â Mitchâs extensive experience in the print and graphic communications industry includes seven years on the board of NAQP, serving as President in 1994-95.
Mitch began his career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as a management consultant in New York City. From 1978 to 2001, Mitch owned a printing company, Print Tech, which he grew from a single location into a multi-million dollar organization with six locations. This accomplishment earned him the prestigious honor of being selected by NAQP as one of four âmodels of excellenceâ in the industry. This designation recognized Print Tech as the benchmark for all NAQP members to emulate. In addition, Mitch was one of the first owners of an instant sign shop when he launched Sign Tech in 1988. Mitch negotiated a succesful exit strategy in 2001.
Mitch holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Management Science, both from Lehigh University.
