East Rutherford, N.J. (September 3, 2013) âThe National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) has announced that Bill Farquharson has joined the Association as a Vice President and member of its Business Advisory Team. The veteran industry sales expert is the third executive to join NAPLâs consulting group in the last 30 days. In August, Mark R. Hahn became an NAPL Senior Vice President, specializing in finance, operations, and M&A; and Mitch Evans was named an NAPL Vice President, specializing in finance, M&A, and quick and small printer issues.
âThe addition of Bill, Mark, and Mitch to our already strong Business Advisory Team means that we will have even more opportunities to offer our members and clients the knowledgeable, industry-specific consulting services they have come to expect from NAPL,â says NAPL President & Chief Executive Officer Joseph P. Truncale, Ph.D.
âDeveloping sales strategies and training salespeople in new consultative selling methods is a key need for our members and clients,â says NAPL Senior Vice President Mike Philie, who leads the Business Advisory Team. âHaving a veteranâand highly successfulâsales trainer like Bill on board is a tremendous addition to our team and further enhances our ability to provide the best sales development and training services in the industry.
âAnd with industry consolidation a major trend, we are pleased to now be able to call upon the M&A expertise of Mark, Mitch, and NAPL Vice President Tom Cobery to handle strategic transaction opportunities for anyone in the industry,â he continues. âWe invite company owners and executives to meet them in person at NAPLâs booth at PRINT 13 in Chicago next week or at our M&A Workshop in that city on Sept. 7.â

He has trained and coached salespeople at many of the industryâs largest suppliers, including Xerox, Fuji, HP Indigo, Heidelberg, EFI, and Konica Minolta, among others.
